Nature reserve
This part of La Renardière is at the bottom part of the property,
sheltered and accessible by a green lane, surrounded by hedges and a small
wood. It is being studied for current and potential biodiversity.

The soil is kept wet all the year round by natural springs and water
running down from the hills.
This part of our project has only just started and will evolve with the
help of different nature specialists and volunteers.

There is a wide variety of wildlife and flora already present. If you are
patient you should see wild boar, roe deer, badgers, foxes, hares and many
different species of diurnal and nocturnal birds. Of course, there are
plenty of other smaller, but no less interesting species - butterflies,
praying mantis, grasshoppers, crickets, salamanders, newts, etc.
